Hi All Lister,
My name is Glynis MCain, I am a flight nurse for NSW Air Ambulance and in my spare time I am researching my family tree and that of my partner.

I am having difficulty in tracing a William Rouse (Rowse) Stoffell and his family. He was born in 1889 in Ballarat East to William James and Constance Annie Gibson.

I understand that William James and Constance both died in south Australia between 1935 and 1953.

William Rouse (Rowes) is reported to have died in 1954. Death Place was listed as QUEE ??? where is this?

William R was married to Evangeline St Clair Polglase in 1911 in South Australia and have 2 daughters before going overseas with ? AIF in 1914 - he returned in 1917 and had a son in 1918. He and Evangeline divorce sometime between 1918 and 1920 when Evangeline remarried.

As William R died in Victoria, I am wondering if he may have gone back there after the failure of his marriage and then remarried?
