Hi Norm
a couple of options that come to mind.
First: does Calc in relation to where she was born mean Calculated time of
birth?
Second: a quick look on Multimap Uk comes up with Calcott West Berkshire and
Calcott in Kent.
Have you used the Latter Day Saints Site LDS family search to find your
relative.
If you have not and would like some assistance please send me the name of
the person you are looking for and I will have a look or I can send you the
website address.

in Victoria in 1869, according to the record of her death, was born in
"Calc", would anyone on the list know what place the abbreviation "Calc"
would stand for.???
> I cant think of anywhere in England that the abbreviation might stand for,
could it have been elsewhere other than England.??
