Hi Listers,

I know this may not be strictly a request centred on the goldfields, but
I have just seen a photo of my grandmother and she was the the Grand
Mistress of the Loyal Orange Lodge. Would anyone have any information
about this organisation? I thought Lodges were only for men. It would
possibly have been before 1938 as I was told she had to resign when her
sons married catholic girls. TIA.
