Hi Donna

My mother is a gregg and is one of 9 children of Alice and William Gregg but
they are not from Ballarat;they were married in 1909 and settled in
Brunswick Victoria.William was born on the 22/4/1884 in Oaklands
Tasmania.Williams grandparents came out from Ireland and settled on a farm
in Tasmania ;Williams father george had 2 brothers (James and David) and 1
sister.William (my grandfather on my mothers side )was 9 when his father
died and when he was 12 he ,his mother and the rest of his family moved to
Nagambie in Victoria and this is where he met my grandmother Alice Ricardo.
