Dear Glenys,
I'm sure that the LDS Church filmed the Daylesford Cemetery Register in
the early 1970's and I was able to order a copy of the microfilm (to view)
through one of their family history libraries (in Orange) only a few years
ago. I ordered the film of the Creswick Cemetery Register to have a look
through also. It only cost the price of the postage which back then was
about $5 or so and I think they held the film at their library for up to a
month before sending it back to their repository in Sydney.
It is handy to look through the whole register if you can as you can
then pick up peripheral branches of the family, find out who is buried near
each other - ie, family groupings, the registers sometimes contain
still-born births etc. It could be worth your while to give your local LDS
center a ring to find out where your nearest family history center would be.
With best wishes, Jeannie.

Daylesford Cemetery. The response has been overwhelming. The person to get
in touch with is the undertaker and he holds the records for the cemetery.
