Hello all,

I have two postcards written from a property named "Fairfield", Campbells
Forest, one in 1907, the other in 1908. They seen to be written by a male
with the initials A.C.B. Does any of this ring any bells?

They lived in the Talbot - Amherst area. Married in 1882. Antonio came from
the AZORES with his two brothers and father. He was the only one who
remained in Australia and his descendants have been in the GOLDFIELDS area
for over 100 years. He arrived in 1853 and I believe they lived in the
Creswick area somewhere because his two brothers are mentioned in The
Creswick and Clunes Advertiser 15 times.

in the Creswick Cemetery in the Methodist section. Does any one know if the
stones are still readable? I wish I could see these headstones as I live in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's as close to the ancestors as I'll get (hope this
doesn't sound silly)
