Patrick,
I 'rescued' a post-card at the Fryerstown Market last week, viz:
Postcard in good condition, The Bluff, Barwon Heads -no date or address,
very good ink handwriting.
Dear Dick, Just a line or two in haste about things in general. I was over
the onions on Sunday, there are a few weeds coming, but nothing to hurt and
so far nothing has interfered with them. You didnt strike the day too bad
to go down, but next day was better, it blew from the south all day. Last
Thursday it rained the biggest part of the afternoon and Saturday and Sunday
were very showery and cold, but today it is showery but more like clearing
up. RAY COLE got half a minute off fastest time in the bike race it was a
very warm day and an awful big crowds, from your sincere friend.
I? J? LIBBIS.
Someone into bike racing may be able to give an approximate date. Contact me
off list if you want it. Tom
