The article is titled:

The Railway Accident.

A magisterial inquiry was held yesterday at Pope's Terminus Hotel, touching
the cause of death of Robert T. ROBERTS. Mr HUTCHINSON, P.M. conducted the
enquiry and the following were the jurors.......

Richard LEWELLYN, locomotive fireman, Ballarat East, stated that he knew the
deceased and was fireman on the engine of the 2.35 train from Ballarat......

James POWELL, yardsman, Stawell, stated that ROBERTS was his assistant and
hearing an unusual yell from the engine fireman, found the deceased lying
between the rails.........
