Hello Kerrie,

I have just returned from holidays and was browsing through the archives to check what I had missed when I saw your letter.

I have been researching the EAMES tree for over 25 years and always welcome a new family researcher to the fold.

I am able to answer your query quite easily- yes William Henry EAMES born 1865 in Sandhurst did marry Mary RAMSAY in Deniliquin in 1891. They produced seven children ,all born at Deniliquin.

Although not descended from William EAMES & Elizabeth EVANS myself; I have a great deal of info on that line if you are interested. Even though I cannot say I know which EAMES you belong to presume that you are a descendant of this couple?

I am descended from a younger brother of William EAMES namely Alfred William EAMES & his 1st wife Mary Jane ELVEY.
