Hi List,

I am researching the FOWLER family who settled in the
Dunolly/Castlemaine area about 1855.

Thomas and Susan FOWLER came from London with at least
two children [also called Thomas and Susan] They had
two more children; Ellen born 1855 and William born
1857.

I am hoping someone on the list might be able to look
up the Index to Victorian Goldfields Hospital Index
for any mention of this family. Daughters Susan and
Ellen died in 1863 and 1862 respectively. Deaths are
recorded in the Castlemaine District, but the family
does give a Dunolly address shortly before this.
Father Thomas died 1878 in the Avoca/Charlton area.

To date I have been unable to find shipping records
for this family and am hoping to narrow down their
date of arrival.
