I've had a look for William's birth, can't find anything for William John Schultz, so I figured I'd start with his death.

Father: Unknown
Mother: Cotton Elizabeth
Age at Death: 2
Death Place: Brighton
Reg Year: 1882 Reg State: Victoria
Ref Number: 4463

That gives me his mother's name at least, so I then searched for births and got all these, but no William I'm afraid! :(

Next step was to search for William with the surname COTTON instead, and lo and behold I found him!!! :D
