Greetings list,

I Am researching my great grandparents who emigrated from Cornwall to
Ballarat arriving on the ship ‘Sir Robert Sale’ on 5 October 1858. They had
two children born in England, Caroline Ann and George, and a third, Mary
Jane, born on board during the voyage. In Australia they settled near
Ballarat and eeked out a survival level pittance from the goldfields. Here
they had another four children – Selina, Thomas, Robert Leonard, and John;
these latter four reportedly being born in Carn.

Any information available relating to any of the persons listed would be
gratefully received and details I have I will willingly share.
