Hi Chris,
Not sure about Fiery Creek, others may know more, but Pleasant Creek was the
early name for Stawell. So I'd guess you are in the right ball park when you
assume somewhere on the goldfields.
Is Fiery Creek near Avoca, perhaps??

G'day Listers,

I have a rellie who is recorded on her 1872 marriage certificate as having
been born in Fiery Creek in 1853. Her birth is not on the Pioneer CD but I
am wondering where Fiery Creek is or was. I'm assuming it was in the
goldfields as the family were later on in the Pleasant Creek area.

Any help very welcome
