Hello listers,
I am looking for any information on George Thomas TURNER. Born 6th October
1839 in Marylebone, London, UK he emigrated to Aus in the 1850's. In a will
written in 1875 he was stated to be "of Sandhurst Australia".
A brother, Philip Dean TURNER also emigrated to Aus, but he lived in Sydney
and I have found a son and a marriage for him.
There is a death for a George Thomas TURNER in Sydney in 1898 but the father
is stated as unknown.
I have also found on the internet a reference in the 1860 Index for the
Creswick and Clunes Advertiser : "G T Turner Unclaimed Letter Creswick 29
June 1860" but the link to the transcript does not work. I would be
gratgeful if anyone has any look up facilities if they could find out more
about that for me.
