Thanks for that Tony

My Crotty's are definately Victorian and arrived in 1853.

Maurice James Crotty, born Abt. 1826 in Co Tipperary, IRL; died 11 November
1906 in Carlton, Vic, AUS (Source: VIC BDM, Reg: 1214, 1906.). He was the
son of 2. Michael Crotty and 3. Bridget Hayes. He married (1) Mary
McCormack 11 February 1861 in At House Of Mr McCormack, Keilor, Vic, AUS
(Source: VIC BDM, No: 475, 1861.). She was the daughter of James McCormack
and Ann Carey.

So it doesn't look like there is any connection. This family spent a fair
bit of time up on Begry Station near Corryong as well as at Keilor.

Thanks for taking the time.

Kind regards
Karen McCormack
Melbourne, Australia
