I had relatives who lived in Karramomus which is between Shepparton and
Violet Town or Euroa depending on which road you go.
About a year ago while driving from Shep to Euroa and getting semi-lost, I
came across a turn off to Karramomus. I had not intended to go there but I
recognized the name from some old family history records and went to
investigate. All that is there now is a tennis court(s) a small local hall
and maybe a rural fire station.

The name 'Karramomus' (Irish ??) and the history of the "town" still intrigue
me.
Has anyone any additional historical information on Karramomus from their
resources?
