Before the calculator -

Interest Rule

For finding the interest of any principal for any number of days, the answer
in each case being in cents, separate the two right hand figures to express
if in dollars and cents.

5% - Multiply by number of days, and divide by 72.
6% - Multiply by number of days and divide by 6
8% - Multiply by number of days and divide by 45
9% - Multipy by number of days and divide by 4
10% - """"""""""""" """"""""""""""""""""" by 36
12% - by 3
15% by 24
18% by 23
20% by 18
