There is a cemetery at Merton.
Benalla Shire Office (now called Delatite), Fawkner Drive, Benalla 3672,
have the records and will search these if you give them plenty of time and
remind them at least once what they are supposed to be doing for you. It
costs $15.00.
When coming from Yea, the cemetery is off to the right somewhere about the
shop/service station area that is on your left, if you asked at the shop
they would be able to tell you exactly.
And there is definitely one at Alexandra but I don't know anything about it
except that you can see it from the main road when you are heading to
Melbourne.
