Lorraine,

This snippet from "Beechworth A Titan's Field" by Carole Woods.
p. 191
"The Black Springs bakery complex, once part of a small settlement about
three miles from Beechworth on the road to Wangaratta, was acquired by the
National Trust in 1968 and restored. The stone and brick bakery had been
built for William Price in 1877 and a flour room, stables and barn, all
constructed from granite, were added in about 1890. (Ref. Baker, Miller &
Pastrycook, vol.3 no 7, July 1939, pp18-23; North-Eastern Historical Society
, Newsletter, vol. 21, no.2 April-May 1982, p. 3. )"
