Thanks to Kaye,
Good to see that my Greatgrandfather James Smith was mentioned in the Oxley
Ploughing Match on Tuesday 10th October 1876 even though he only came second
in a two man contest, I note that the Judges were his friends John Barrie,
of Oxley, John Ferguson, of Hurdle Creek and C W Lloyd, of Hurdle Creek.
Great to see what was happening in those Early Pioneering Day's, now I am
looking forward to hearing about the evening dinner help at GARDNER'S HOTEL.
Great work thank you Kaye
Doug
