Hi again Jackie

I have checked "Wood's Point Cemetary - Burials 1863-1920 &
Transcriptions", no Trenfields listed.

There are however some Bakers, Collins and Downings (including Mary
Jane) if you want their details.

Katrina

Hi Kat,
My Aunt remembers Seth TRENFIELD. However, I'm not sure which Seth she
was
talking about as there were 2.
Walter Henry Seth TRENFIELD b. 1888 d. 1959 mar. May Elizabeth BAKER
and then there's their son, also named Walter Henry Seth TRENFIELD b.
1920 and married to Moira someone.

I have a copy of a newspaper clipping somewhere of Seth at a club
playing 8
ball or snooker. He was in a wheelchair. I'm not sure which Seth it
is. One of these days when I finish unpacking I'll find it....I've not
long
moved house.

I would appreciate anything your mother can tell me about the family. My
link comes in with Montague TRENFIELD b. 1895 d. 1977 mar. 1918 to
Sylvia May COLLINS b. 1899 d. 1981.

They had 6 children......

1. Merle b. 1918 mar. Fred WILLIAMS & had 3 children

2. Henry Montague b. 1919 mar. Joyce someone and had 3 children

3. Keith b. ? died abt. 2001 mar. Dulcie someone - 3 children

4. Patricia b. ? mar. Ronald Maurice CLINCH - 4 children

5. Ray b. ? mar. Nola someone - 1 daughter

6. Yvonne b. ? mar. Ray MITCHELL - 2 children

I have some other info. on the children but mostly names and who they
married and their children...but no real details.

Sylvia May COLLINS was the daughter of William COLLINS and Mary Jane
DOWNING.

Sylvia was my Grandmother's sister.

Anything at all that your mother can pass on would be great. Funny
stories, their religion....well, just anything would be great.

You may email me off list if you prefer at:

Thank you Kat
