Thanks for the imput Rosalyn - I too saw the disorder - mentioned on google.

It has been discovered by a kind lister that Marks came into Victoria in
1854
as
Minchhausen Marks
and
Hansen Marks Minch

Now to find some BDMs ! He also had a store at Woolshed in 1857
