I am currently reading a book which mentions the above name.
This man started off in Victoria by mining in the Ballarat region and then went to Beechworth.

I have seen the name during north east research but never needed to delve into it. Does anyone know of this name, anything at all that may give me a lead, please?

The time frame is the 1850s. I have no memory as to how I came to see this name, when and in what context, nor do I know how long he stayedin the northeast.
