not sure if these help or answer your question, but I found the following
references to Eleven Mile Creek in my files -

Wangaratta Chronicle, Saturday December 8, 1928
obit of Thomas LEE
"..... They settled first of all at Rocky Lead, near Creswick, removing in
1869 to Musk Creek (near Daylesford), and left there in 1875 for Eleven
Mile Creek, Glenrowan West, where Mr LEE was one of the first
selectors. ...."

Wangaratta Chronicle Wednesday December 5, 1928
24th November. St Patricks Wangaratta, Miss Nellie TANNER (daughter of Mr
and Mrs C TANNER, Greta South) was married to Mr J GRIFFITHS (son of Mr T
GRIFFITHS of Eleven Mile Creek). Rev. Father BYRNE performed the
ceremony. J TANNER (brother of bride) was best man
