Subject: Where is Frenchmans Flat?

Hello Listers,

In Ronda's recent list of spare births, there is a mention of a Frenchmans
Flat. As I have never heard of this location, I am interested in locating
where it was.

According to the other entries on Ronda's submission, it is probably
somewhere near Yackandandah.

There is a Frenchmans Gully nearby but it is much closer to Stanley and
hence I would have expected Stanley or Beechworth entries on the same page.
Also one couldn't confuse a Flat with a Gully (could they?). For these
reasons, I assume these two places are not related.

If anybody has any information at all on Frenchmans Flat, I would
appreciate hearing it.
