Hello Rex, Anne & Jon,

I do not know who is researching who in this matter as only a
few nights ago I cleaned up my emails, but when I saw Considine and
Taralga a bell rang. My information may be of little consequence but
here it is.

My great great grandfather, Thomas Moran, a tailor from Co.
Wexford was given 14 years in 1835 for stealing some legs of lamb (on
the hoof, so to speak) and arrived in Australia on the Lady McNaughton.
His wife Catherine Parle/Pearl and 4 daughters were given a free passage
to Sydney and arrived on the William Jardine on 24 September, 1849. The
family settled in Taralga. The 4 daughters were Mary, Margaret (my great
grandmother), Eliza and Catherine.

Eliza (abt 1831 - 1872) married Michael Considine (abt 1830 -
1906) and they had 9 daughters and one son, Patrick Thomas Considine,
born 1836. I have names of the various spouses and their respective
births/deaths. There is no spouse for Patrick Thomas.

The limited info that I have may have come from the same source
as Rex's, i.e. someone descended from another of the 4 daughters. It was
passed on to me some 10 years or more ago.

Thanks for your response on Michael Considine who married Emily Ellis in

1907.
I have some older Michael Considines on my Tree, the line fades out in
1868 but this man may be one of the descendants.
I have Patrick Considine born 1811 in Sixmilebridge Clare Ireland son of

Michael Considine.
Patrick had a son Michael Considine born 1832 in Sixmilebridge Clare
Ireland.
Michael came to Australia in 1838 and had a son Patrick Thomas Considine

born at Taralga NSW in 1868.
I have no further descendants.
Do you have any details on the Michael Considine who married Emily
