Hi Lynley,

Give us as many details as you can and we'll see what we can do.
Indexes are available on Cd for deaths to 1985, marriages to 1942 and births to 1920. If you want births up to 1924 you have to pay a small amount for an on-line search. Other avenues of research are probate records, but probably the best for you would be electoral rolls.

best wishes,

Subject: [AVNE] Some advice please

Hello,

Could SKS help me please? I have located a branch of my family tree in
Melbourne and I am wondering how to track descendants of this branch who were
born in the late 1930's, 1940's and as late as 1950.

My aim is to find a living descendant who might be able to supply photos and
family information.

I live in Porirua, New Zealand ( 30kms north of Wellington city) and am a
relatively new researcher.

Many thanks
Lynley Chapman
