I believe that here on the Central Coast, NSW the local history group is
often spotted working in the reference room upstairs in the Gosford Library.

The Reference officer chats and advises and often has suggestions of sources
that perhaps the local history groups may not be offay with to the extent
that a Reference Officer perhaps is?

I guess it works well?
