Hi All,

I have a marriage certificate from Kerang where the bride was married with
the written consent of the Guardian Thomas Martin MILLAR Supr Reformatory
School.
Her occupation was Home Assistant.

Questions:-
a) Was she just employed by the school ?
b) Was she an inmate of the school ?
c) Do any records exist of employees or inmates ?

The parties involved were:-

James MANNING, Engine Driver, age 28;
Harriett Clarissa DIBBS, Home Assistant, age 18;
Married on 5 Sep 1901 by George TREGEAR, Wesleyan Minister;
Witnesses - Charles TURNER & Rachel TROYFORD (?).

In case there are others interested, two further marriages are:-

Samuel Herbert HUNTER, Engine Driver, age 23;
Maude Mary HOLT, Dress Maker, age 26;
Married on 9 Sep 1901 by George TREGEAR, Wesleyan Minister;
Witnesses - George Baird HUNTER & Annie Marshall TREGEAR.

Matthew Henry COLMAN, Grocer, age 28;
Rosetta SMITH, Home Assistant, age 25;
Married on 18 Sep 1901 by George TREGEAR, Wesleyan Minister;
Witnesses - Annie Marshall TREGEAR & Jessie Frances FRENCH
