Hi all!

If your ancestors travelled up the state and possibly into NSW you may be interested to know that:
In the Mallee, Ouyen are celebrating 100 years as a town this year, see http://www.ouyencentenary2009.net/.
Further north on the Murray River, Merbein will be celebrating its centenary this year from 14-23 August see www.merbeincentenary.com.au for a 10 day calendar of events.
Nearby Wentworth will also be celebrating - its 150th anniversary - from 19th to 21st June 2009. See http://www.wentworth.nsw.gov.au/events/index.php?id=175 for details of the weekend's program.
