I am helping a friend to find out the true identity of her grandfather. He was born around 1900-1905 and we believe it would have been in Victoria. He died in NSW in 1985. He was told the day he married (Victoria) he was adopted and it hurt him so much he refused to talk of it to anyone for the remainder of his days. Can this man's daughter or granddaughter get access to any information from Freedom of Info. or elsewhere?
Thanks for any information. I am in the dark about this.
