Covinsby: Parish, Co. of Ripon; orig. uncertain; may refer to family of which Sir Sydney Colvin (1845-1927), Slade professor of Fine Arts, Cambridge,
1873-85, was such a distinguished member.

I think Ripon Shire is around Beaufort?? but not sure. Blake doesn't help with that.
