Friday February 2,1906
The many friends of Mr Abel BULLOCK in the Goroke district will be pleased
to know that he has been appointed to the important position of manager of
the drapery Dept. in the well known store of Oliver L. BEDFORD and Compy.
Mr BULLOCK, who has held a similar position for Messrs RATCLIFFE & Son, has
been associated with the West Wimmera for over a third of a century, and has
a thorough grasp of his business.

Mr HODGKINSON, of the Colonial Bank Natimuk, has had to cease duty owing to
illness.

Miss E. FISHER, of Bridgewater, has been appointed to Natimuk Post Office.

Messrs LEARMONTH Bros. report a poor yarding at RATCLIFFE'S yards yesterday,
little business being done.

The Quantong people are having some trouble amongst themselves over the
distribution of water, and matters have gone so far between two parties that
litigation is threatened.
