A very successful sale of farm plant and stock was conducted by Messrs. YOUNG Bros. at Messrs. J. McLURE junior's, on Monday last, there was a large attendance and bidding was animated throughout, prices for almost everything being satisfactory to the vendor. A line of 4 and 6 tooth and full mouth ewes in lamb to merino rams made 5/1, weaner lambs 5/1, 4 and 6 tooth wethers 5/3. Harvester £45, drill £18, waggon £27, ploughs to £13, horseworks £13/10s, chaffcutter £11/10. Messrs. J. SUDHOLZ and W. McPHERSON wielded the hammer.
