I'm trying to trace my ggggrandfather Alexander McLeod
who gives his place of residence as Darlington Station
on his marriage certificate in 1853. Was the area
around Darlington ever known as Darlington Station?
When was the area settled? He says he was born in
N.S.W. but on another certificate says he was born in
Scotland. His father is given as Angus McLeod, but no
mother is listed. Hoping someone can help with these
queries, Robyne Kirsch.
