Thanks to Graham for the latest on wedding photography loopholes to
add to my information. It is still worth checking out copyright with
your photographer, and in most cases , getting a written contract
to avoid unpleasant surprises later.

Gloria

This matter is a little more complicated than that. There is now a special
condition which covers photography of weddings where the copyright of all
photos belongs to the person who requested they be taken, unles he/she
signs a contract to the contrary. There are a couple of other complex cases
as well.
Details can be obtained from the Australian Copyright Council - if anyone
is really worried.
Cheers
