MINIMAY NOTES

The Minimay and Ozenkadnook Junior footballers met for the second time, on
the Booroopki cricket ground on Saturday, 22nd. inst., and played a friendly
game which resulted in rather an easy win for the local boys. The final
score were Minimay, 11 goals 10 behinds (76 pts.); Ozenkadnook, 5 goals 7
behinds (37pts.) On the previous Saturday Ozenkadnook were victorious over
Minimay, but on this occasion Minimay had two or three more good players,
while Ozenkadnook were without the services of some of their best.
The scores at the end of the quarters were as follows.
Minimay Ozenkadnook

Third quarter 1 2 3 2
Fourth quarter 2 5 0 1

The best players for the winners were J. McCARTHY., A ROBINSON, D., L., T.,
and J. CARRACHER while D. CRABTREE, P. McCARTHY, J. ROBBIE, P. CARRACHER,
J. MULRANEY, R. FENTON, and A. CARRACHER assisted well. The best for the
visitors were D. PAHL, D. McDONALD (capt), C. PAHL, BULL (2), C. SCHUMANN,
J. LAMPARD, J. MULRANEY and McDONALD. Mr. P.J. CARRACHER gave satisfaction
as central umpire, as did Messrs. V. GARDNER and SCOTT as goal umpires. At
the conclusion of the match the local ladies provided a much appreciated
tea.
