Dear Beth and others. Well, I am not sure, but the death certificate says he
died of an abscess. I am informed by people with a medical background, that
the condition is really with the blood and it may have even been cancer, but
nothing to imply that, on the D.C.
What do you reader's think of the cause of death with that one statement ?
I would like to have a few thoughts on the matter.
Would this sound right that Ann died of "Pulmonary Consumption" or as it is
known
Tubercolosis... Apparently many of the family of George's cousin
EDWARD ROBE BOSTOCK died of consumption, while residing at Dover in Kent,
which caused KEITH JACKSON KING (of JELLALABAD) to come to Australia in the
first place... He was first in Tasmania, like so many of the Western
District pioneers.
I have to get oof this thing now as I am expecting a phone call.

I have gained so much background knowledge of the times through reading
these diary extracts. A sad ending to a fulfilling life for your ancestor
when there could have been so much more. What was the terminal illness
Thelma and how sad that Ann followed so soon after.
