Subject: [AUS-VIC-West] Financing Family Reunions

Dear Friends,
On Sep 21st there is to be a big reunion at Rokewood, Victoria of the
descendants of William CARR and Isabella McKERRAL. At our Committee Meeting
today we were discussing various ways of financing this reunion, and I
wondered if I could get some opinions/suggestions from those of you who
have done this before. We're expecting some hundreds of people.

Someone on the Committee suggested charging a Registration Fee of $10 (an
idea which I don't really like). So after discussion, others suggested
simply asking folk for a donation in the 2nd mail out. By that time we
would be able to outline for them where this money will be spent. Don't
want to put anyone off.
