Lance Corporal Jack McCARTHY, of Neuarpurr, who has been invalided home as a
result of severe wounds (second occasion) arrived in Adelaide on Sunday.

Mr Syd O'CONNOR, of Minimay, who recently passed the medical test in Horsham
for active service met with a disappointment on going to Melbourne for final
examination, failing to pass the severe test there. He also previously
failed to pass the test.

Mr Alf MILES entered camp at Broadmeadows last week.
