Hello Eileen,
I at first misread this message, thinking you had found this trial in 1834,
and knowing that John BATMAN was born in Australia, but I see that the
trial was in 1796.
I re-visited the site, but I have to say, that the site does not have such
late trials as 1834... they hope to, eventually, and it is a work in
progress, at present only for the 18th century
