Hello Sally,

Photographers were very commercial people.

The name and address was there to encourage new customers, or for
re-ordering of the image.

IF it was an Australian sourced photo it would have the Australian name and
address and in very small print "also of Manchester, England".

Maybe the photo is of a relative in Manchester and not the lady you think
... or maybe she did go to England (most went near the end of the boom in
1888 and returned a few months later) and you don't have all her particulars.

But an Australian photographer ? I doubt it.

Regards Ada
