March 21, 1919

A meeting of the Natimuk branch of the Australian Labour Party was held in
the Mechanics' Hall on Monday evening last, to elect officers for the coming
year. The following were elected:--
President, Mr V. RAPP; Vice President, Mr. R. SIMMONS; Secretary, Mr J.
BOURKE (pro tem) ; Treasurer, Mr. C. McCUISH; Committee, Messrs. E.
DOCHERTY, C. NEAL, T. CAMPION, H. THOMPSON, H. R. ABRAHAMSON, and T. STOTT.
It was decided to hold a social on Monday, 31st March. The next meeting is
to be held on 29th inst., at 8pm sharp.

Mr. M. McDONALD who recently returned from the war, has been appointed to
take charge of the Aubrey State School. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jas.
McDONALD, of Polkemmet.
