Good afternoon

I have been on the list before dragging my Riches family with me. The
Riches family arrived in Portland in 1853 and are easily spotted because
William Riches and Rebecca Bond gave all their children (9 of them) the
middle name of Money. Despite my initial thoughts that William was a little
over the top when naming his children subsequent research has shown that the
Money name came from William's uncle the Rev William Money.

What I have just discovered is that at least three of Rebecca Bond's
siblings came to Australia at the same time. They are

John Bond married to Caroline Newstead
William Bond married to Sarah Bradfield
Sarah Bond married to Robert Kelton

I have found a lot of the family buried at Heywood Cemetery (courtesy of Ian
Marr's site).

If anyone has any information or knowledge of the family I would love to
hear from them. If anyone is aware of a book that has been written about
the area then I would appreciate knowing its title.
