Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note to announce the upcoming Sharrock Reunion to be held at the Newstead Community Centre, Victoria on October 9, 2005.

The Sharrock family first came to Australia with Joseph, his wife Mary and children arriving on the "Mohamed Shah" into Port Phillip in July 1848. They were followed 10 years later by his brothers, James, John and Michael and their respective families on the "Rising Sun" arriving in Melbourne in June 1858. There was also another brother William who remained in England, although at least one of his sons also immigrated.

Any and all descendants of these families are welcome to attend.

Anyone requiring further information on the reunion, or who have updated family information, photos, etc they would like to share, please contact me off list at
