Hi Beryl,
My g Grandmother Aplonia Moss was born in 1855 at Spring Gully, nr Creswick,
Vic, she died 10th September 1946 at Broomfield,Vic. She married Alexander
Caldwell 0n 30 September 1874, here parents were Casper Joseph Moss DOB 1817
and Janet Dunkless DOB 1821 who were married in Chemntz Germany in 1854.
Alexanders parents were James and Mother Martha Lees.
Alexander died in Broomfield ,Shire of Creswick, County of Talbot, on 10
September 1923, he was born in Coleraine, Derry, Ireland in1835, he resided
in Australia for 65yrs which makes him 20yrs when her arrived here.
Alexander and Aplonia had 6? children all born in the Creswick area, their
first born James Alexander DOB 21 October 1879 POB, Broomfield is my
Grandfather.
