Hi Daryl,
Much of the Mildura and Redcliffs area was established as soldier settlement
farms after WW1, so perhaps your researcher could contact the RSL branch in
Mildura for some info. A large area of the Mallee south of Mildura was
opened up in the 1920's, some as soldier settlement, so history groups in
places such as Sea Lake or Ouyen could be helpful. Try also the RSL clubs in
Swan Hill and Horsham.
Regards
Julie M. Hopper.

Subject: [AUS-VIC-West] Avenues of Honour, Wimmera / Mallee

Hi folks

I have been contacted by a researcher for his University Honours
Thesis, who is looking for any Avenues of Honour (loved or forgotten)
that were planted in the Wimmera or Mallee regions. I would be happy
to forward any clues or details on to him.
