Hi Trish

Well it took a full hour at 40-50 mph back in the late forties, early
fifties, so I guess you'd be looking at at least 3 given the roads of the
time. The distance was 30 miles (whatever that is now in kms). The ministers
at that time administered HUGE areas, so perhaps there was some haste
required? Could have been a dozen reasons - religion, family disapproval,
etc.
