Greetings list,

This may be a long shot, but here goes.

I am looking for details of Ada EDGAR, maiden name START, who died in Perth
in the late 1960's or early 1970's. She was born in 1897 at Crowlands near
Ararat. Her second husband was Leslie EDGAR, but I don't know when he died.
They were married in Victoria, probably in Ararat or Ballarat, in 1942. I
don't know if Les had been married before, or if he had any other family.

Ada had previously been married to Percival BARRY, whose family (I think)
came from around the Avoca/Elmhurst area. Ada and Percy were married in
about 1920. They had two sons, Allan and Ernest, both of whom served in WW2.
Ernest was killed in action in 1941 but Allan lived on and served in the
navy until the 1960's. Allan died some time after 1981 and before 1990. As
far as I know, neither Ernest nor Allan had any children.

Does anyone recognise any of these details? I am trying to find out when and
why Ada went to Perth, and what her last known address was. She was still
alive in 1966.

Any details at all would be helpful.
