Evening All

John Duncan was a blacksmith at Branxholme from around 1868 - 1873. During that time, he was in partnership with my gr.gr.grandfather, Nicholas Saunders.

Does anyone know anything about John, in particular where he was born and family information etc. John died in April 1895 aged 58 and is buried with his wife Mary in the Branxholme cemetery.
He is mentioned in the book 'Branxholme 1843-1973', written by Agnes Walker.
